Collapsed State (animated):

  • Please provide the final Lottie files of your animation on Desktop and Mobile (each Lottie file must be under 3.2MB – we recommend exporting as optimized DotLottie files as this will drastically reduce the file size). Lottie file can be exported using the LottieFiles plugin for After Effects.

  • Please provide your final After Effects files and we will export the final Lottie file for you. Please note, though the Lottie format is quite robust and fast, it does not support all features of Adobe After Effects; please refer to this list for details (Web HTML). This means that if we export the animation for you, certain effects might need to be adjusted to the After Effects files by you or our team to ensure full compatibility with Lottie animation.

ASSETS REQUIRED

If built by the CNET Group Studios team:
Standard asset pack including Key Art, Logos, Fonts, Guidelines, After Effects files with animations, and/or other reference material for animation (storyboard, other existing animated banners, etc.).

If built by the Client (must use correct PSD template and safe areas):

  • 5120x700px static image (PNG recommended, or JPG 100%)
  • 5120x320px animation (After Effects Files, exported to Lottie)
  • 925x520px static image (PNG recommended, or JPG 100%)
  • 925x310px animation (After Effects Files, exported to Lottie)
  • We also recommend sending your After Effects files and PSD used to export your PNG as we can quickly process any adjustments if required

INFORMATION

The Animated Quickslider format is a high-impact sticky ad that displays above the navigation bar on desktop and mobile.

The Animated Quickslider is made up of 2 steps:

– The first step will show the Expanded State creative (resized to fit the user’s screen size). This initial banner is static.

– On user scroll, the Quickslider will shrink down to the Collapsed State version (resized appropriately) and include the animation. The product leverages proprietary and innovative processes and displays the animation using Lottie, a new industry standard for motion design and animation. The animation starts automatically upon the unit load and will stop upon reaching the last frame

The collapsed Quickslider can be closed by the user or re-expanded using the expand button. If the user scrolls back to the top of the page, the larger Expanded State creative reappears.
